A Parent’s Guide to Wii Games For Kids
As a parent, you want your kid to have fun and at the same time protect him or her from the violence some video games feature. It’s good to know that there are fun and enjoyable Wii games for kids that can aid a child’s learning.
Younger Kids
For younger kids, one of the most popular Wii game is Animal Crossing: City Folk. This features cute animal characters that allow your kid to do exciting things with his or her character. In City Folk, the players are sent into the big city where they can shop in upscale boutiques, catch a show, and other activities done in the city.
If your child is a fan of Dora, you can have him or her play Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow Princess. In this game, Dora rescues the Snow Princess with the help of Boots and Pirate Piggy.
Another game for the younger kids is Ultimate I Spy, a seek-and-find activity that will train your kids to look for hidden objects. There are 40 riddles set in scenic locations, and at the end, expect a race against time to win the final challenge and reveal a surprise.
Older Kids
For older kids, you can have them play Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek. Your kid can act as Nancy Drew and investigate a series of odd events that will enhance his or her deductive reasoning skills in solving puzzles and mini-games.
Other options include SIMCity Creator and Wario Land: Shake It.
For the Whole Family
When it’s family bonding time with the kids, one suitable wii game is Wii Music. Together, your family can act as a band, create music, and have pure, clean fun.
